Annual Wellness Exam
During the Annual Wellness Visit, your healthcare provider reviews your medical history, checks your vital signs, assesses your cognitive function, check your labs, and creates a personalized care plan. The visit focuses on preventive care and the early detection of potential health issues. It does not include a physical examination or tests to diagnose illnesses. Instead, it is a conversation between you and your healthcare provider to develop a long-term plan for your health.

Medicare Wellness Exam
A Medicare Wellness Exam, also known as the Medicare Annual Wellness Visit, is a preventive health benefit provided to those on Medicare and Medicare Advantage plans. The purpose of the Medicare Wellness Exam is to promote health and prevent diseases among Medicare beneficiaries. Medicare Annual Wellness exams are allowed each calendar for Medicare Advantage plans and each 366 days for Traditional Medicare.

Office/Sick Visit
There are various other services we offer as a primary care clinic. We management of chronic conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, asthma, or thyroid disorders. Regular check-ups help ensure that these conditions are well-controlled, medications are effective, and lifestyle modifications are properly implemented. Additional symptoms we treat are fatigue, digestive issues, or ongoing pain. We also refer patients to specialist for additional treatment if needed. Office visits can address also minor illnesses and injuries, such as colds, flu, minor infections, or muscle strains. We offer appropriate treatment and ensure you recover properly without complications. Regular visits to your primary care doctor play a crucial role in maintaining long-term health and well-being.
Vaccines
Oxmoor Medical Group has partners with Vaxcare to offer our patients a wide variety of vaccines for our patients. These vaccines include flu, HPV, Tdap, Hep B, Shingles, Pneumovax23, Prevnar 20, among others. We are always looking to add additional vaccines to our list. Consult with an Oxmoor Medical Group professional to learn about other vaccines we can provide.
Diabetes Management
Our providers are experienced in treating and managing diabetes and providing adequate education on diabetic diet and appropriate use of diabetes medication. We also have staff on site who can help you with placement of a continuous glucose monitors and show you how to review the glucose records from your continuous glucose monitor. We also have in-office glucose checks and A1c measurements so we can get results on the same day as your visit.
X-Ray
We have an inhouse x-ray machine to use for chest x-rays, extremities x-rays, and spine x-rays. Our efficient staff will make sure your test is completed as part of your visit and our physicians will review the image and give you your results the same day.
Ultrasound
We offer in house ultrasounding once a week to evaluate internal organs with ultrasonography. This includes vascular evaluation, abdominal problems, cardiac evaluation, thyroid, and general abnormal findings on physical exam that need ultrasound evaluation. We also provide knee injections under ultrasound to ensure the medicine is placed exactly where it is needed in the joint space.
Electrocardiogram
We offer in house EKG evaluation as part of your initial visit with medicare, but also if there is ever a problem that is concerning regarding the heart rhythm. Our experienced team will preform the EKG and our providers will interpret and review with our patients the results of the EKG on the same day as your visit.
Hypertension Management
Our providers are experienced in evaluating, managing, and treating hypertension, elevated blood pressure. Our team is experienced in using all the different kinds of blood pressure medicines to make sure we know how to find the right fit for our patients.
Breathing Testing
Our experienced team can perform breathing tests to evaluate your underlying lung condition or to diagnose if there is an underlying lung condition. Our providers will review these results and go over them with you during your visit.
